A group of supporters recently completed the Great North Run, raising funds for the Leeds United Foundation.
Ben, Keiron, Thom and Ed all finished the gruelling challenge on Sunday 8th September. As a team, they have already raised over £2,000 to support the work carried out by the club’s official charity.
Over the past few months, they have been training hard and raising funds, before completing the tough 13.1 miles in the September heat.
The Great North Run is one of the world’s most iconic half-marathons, with the famous route taking runners from the centre of Newcastle, through Gateshead to the coastline of South Shields.
The club are incredibly grateful to our fundraisers who support the work at the Leeds United Foundation, helping us to continue our work in the area.
The club’s official charity aims to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across our region through opportunities in sport, education, and healthier lifestyles.
If you would like to sponsor the team and to help the Foundation continue to educate, motivate, inspire and support people across the local Leeds community, you can make a donation on our official JustGiving page HERE.
