The Leeds United Foundation disability team are pleased to launch a new football programme for the Summer that is aimed at young females aged between 12 and 14 with a variety of disabilities.

The FA Girls Football Pilot will include football sessions being delivered throughout the Summer holidays for young girls with cerebral palsy, those who are visually impaired or suffer with deafness.

The programme will kick-off on Wednesday 21st July, from 5pm to 6pm, at Fives Soccer Centre in Seacroft (LS14 1NH) and will take place weekly – with each session costing just £3 per individual player.

This new initiative is all about togetherness and creating further opportunities for young girls, suffering with disabilities, to play football, improve their skills and continue developing. Each session will focus on working together, playing together and learning together. The aim of the course will be to focus on each individual’s ability, not their disability, ensuring they are always having fun and focusing on the positives.

All abilities are welcome, whether you’ve never played football or have taken part in sessions previously, so for any young girls that want to take part make sure you book on now.

The sessions will be delivered every Wednesday evening, with the final session taking place on Wednesday 1st September 2021.
