Leeds United are pleased to announce Diego Llorente has signed a new contract with the club.

The Spaniard has penned a three-and-a-half-year extension at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2026.

A full Spain international who has 10 caps to his name, Llorente joined the Whites back in September 2020, following the club’s promotion to the Premier League.

Since arriving in West Yorkshire, the 29-year-old has made 55 appearances in all competitions, netting four goals.

In his first campaign, Llorente helped Leeds finish in ninth spot in the Premier League, whilst last season he was part of the side which memorably defeated Brentford on the final day to secure survival.

So far this term, the defender has featured nine times in all competitions under head coach Jesse Marsch.

All at Leeds United are pleased to have seen Diego commit his future to the club and now look forward to him helping the side in the second half of the season, when the campaign gets back underway on December 28th at home to Manchester City.
