Leeds United winger Dan James spoke to LUTV following Wednesday’s victory over Swansea City.

The fine run of form continued for the Whites at Elland Road, with James scoring against his former side in the win.

James gave his thoughts on the game, believing it was vital to go in with a lead at the break.

“We almost had a great start, I’m not sure I was offside, I think it was very close,” said James.

“Then they went down the other end and scored and it’s always tough when a team comes and scores early.

“We reacted well and got a goal back pretty much straight away, just a couple of minutes after and we scored an unbelievable goal just before half time, which was nice.

“Having conceded late in the first half against Rotherham United the other day, it was nice to score one just before half time.

“Georgie brought it out of the sky, it was an incredible finish and a great ball from Ethan (Ampadu) and we went in ahead at 2-1.

“In the second half it was just about taking chances, we were a lot better in our pressing and I think we should have had a few more tonight.

“We’ve now taken 13 points from 15 and we have to keep that going now.

“Every time we play at home we have the fans behind us which is great and we have to keep that form up and get as many points away as we can too.”
