Leeds United extended their unbeaten streak to 17 games in the Sky Bet Championship, after drawing with West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke’s side were on a five match winning run heading into the game and went into an early lead through Junior Firpo’s header, but the visitors hit back before the break.

Speaking after the match, the boss gave his thoughts to the media, having seen his side add another point to their total.

“Sometimes you also have to settle to live with the draw, and we can do this today,” Farke summarised.

“Obviously, we are used to winning games and especially home games, so of course, we want to win home games.

“So for that, you're a bit disappointed that it's not a win, there's no doubt about this. But sometimes you also have to live with the draw, and if you can't win the game, then you have to make sure that you don't lose it.

“For the table, because of our really good run, if you're then there after five wins in a row, you are sometimes there with a draw.

“You have to see the bigger picture and say, come on, you can't win them all, although you want to win them all. Sometimes a point is also important.

“Overall, it's still one point more, we edge one point closer, and because we have won many, many points, of course, it's then in the bigger picture, perhaps also definitely a good point, yes.”
