Leeds United produced a stunning performance at home to Cardiff City on Saturday, defeating the Bluebirds after a more than convincing 7-0 scoreline.
Speaking after seeing his side remain top of the Sky Bet Championship with another big three points, Daniel Farke gave his thoughts to the media.
“After a win, first of all, it is always a relief, but of course when you have a day and a night like this with such an impressive scoreline, it's even more enjoyable,” the boss stated.
“I've mentioned several times this league is relentless and if you want to become relentless in this league, you have to become relentless yourself.
“This is more or less what we've shown today from the first to the last second of our work against the ball, in the hard work in the transition moments and once we lost the ball.
“Our work in possession is what I like a lot about this performance, like in the last 20 minutes when we were 4-0 and 5-0 up, that we still had the desire to run back, to sprint back, to press, to defend, to keep the clean sheet.
“Also the discipline and the intention to create further chances to score further goals. We perhaps could have scored even a few more.
“I also like that our offensive players chipped in today with great goals, with great assists.
“At the moment we don't have perhaps just one key man who scores goals, but we have many, many players who can chip in with double figures in terms of end product.
“So I think this is also a strength and, yeah, they are all invited to keep going exactly in this way.”
