Leeds United face Ipswich Town this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship, away from home.

The Whites head to Portman Road for the Saturday 3pm kick-off, aiming for their first win of the campaign after drawing last time out against West Bromwich Albion.

Previewing the match, manager Daniel Farke spoke to the media to give his thoughts ahead of the game.

“I have to give them [Ipswich] lots of praise because they had a fantastic last season, and a fantastic start to this season also,” the manager stated.

"It is quite normal after promotion that you also play with confidence and I think they are 21 league games without defeat.

“It is impressive and always when you’re flying you play with rhythm, confidence and bravery. They’re a really good side and I have a lot of respect for the work there.

“For their start, they are the team of the moment and I have no doubts about this, but we are Leeds United and we know our strengths.

“It’s important for us that we are concentrated on bringing a same level of performance like in the last home game.

“If we deliver such a level of performance and a bit more efficiency in both boxes, we have a good chance to travel back with the points.”

Farke went on to give an update on team news prior to the team departing to face the Tractor Boys.

He said: “Luis Sinisterra is back in the squad and available, also Leo Hjelde after his concussion is back.

“Willy Gnonto is back so it’s a slightly improved situation to last week.

“There are a few concerns about Daniel James because he has got a few problems with his abductors, we hope it is not too bad.

“There was a slight injury of Joe Gelhardt in the last game with his shoulder but he has trained all week, so it shouldn’t be a problem.”
