Leeds United face Cardiff City at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm), as the teams battle for three points in the Sky Bet Championship.
The visitors come into the match on an unbeaten run of eight matches, showing improvement and strong form over recent weeks.
Daniel Farke gave his thoughts on facing the Bluebirds, and is aware of the threat that an inform team can pose to his side.
“They are eight games unbeaten, pretty good in the form table, a bit like all the last teams that we've played, so really on an impressive run.” The boss stated, on our upcoming opponents.
“They had some really impressive away performances, not just in the cup but also in the league, really good results.
“So for that they will come with confidence, they have collected many, many points and are in a much better position right now.
“I think they will come with confidence, also with a bit of freedom, because due to some good results in the past weeks the big pressure for them is perhaps a little bit away, so they can play with confidence and with freedom.
“They play with intensity, they play with being active and trying to go for it as well. Also quite intense and aggressive in the duel, so they play with a really good team spirit and you could see this on the pitch.
“We have to move the ball quickly, otherwise they will involve us in many, many duels, we have to make sure that we hold the tempo high.
“And on the other hand also to be aware, because this is definitely also a side who will try to be there, especially also on the counter-attack with dangerous situations, they go for it.
“So they have many, many experienced players on the Championship level who have played many, many games there, so some well-known names also in this league.
“So for that we have to be on it, and I'm pretty respectful and already in game mode anyhow, because I want to deliver also on Saturday.”
