Leeds United face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Wednesday evening, in a match that is live on Sky Sports and gets underway at 8pm.

Coming into the match, both teams have been boosted by wins in their last outing and will now be looking to add another important three points to help their league position.

Daniel Farke gave his thoughts on the fixture, ahead of kick-off.

He said: “I'm very, very respectful because Alex [Neil] is an unbelievable, experienced coach in English football and especially on a Championship level.

“I like personalities, I like coaches and managers where you can see the handwriting and you can see this in his teams.

“They play with intensity, aggression, with bravery, they go for it with many crosses, you have to defend second balls really well, they play with fighting spirit.

“This is what you expect when you play his sides. He has also some of his former players from Preston at Stoke and you can see his handwriting.

“His teams goes and tries to fight all together. This is what they did against a really good Sunderland side, why they got an important win, so we know it’ll be a tough task.

“We have to be fully switched on, to be ready to fight for the points as well. You could see not just from the result but also performance-wise that it was crucial for them [the win against Sunderland].

“Obviously, we want to make sure that they have to wait for back to back wins and for a little run, even a little bit longer, but I'm quite sure that under Alex’s leadership, they will finish in a much better position.

“For that, we are very respectful. We don't travel in fear, we also know that we are in good shape and want to win the points.

“But, we have to be at our best in order to give ourself a chance to win the points.”
