Leeds United face Birmingham City away from home on Saturday afternoon, in their first Sky Bet Championship away match of the season.
Daniel Farke’s side have had two competitive matches so far this season, the 2-2 comeback draw with Cardiff City and Wednesday night’s 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Shrewsbury Town.
The Whites now head to St Andrew’s to face the Blues, in a 3pm kick-off, looking for their first league victory of the season.
“The first win in the league is always important but in general you can see the results are good in recent weeks,” Farke explained.
“The two friendlies and first two competitive games, we’ve had three wins and one draw.
"We’re highly motivated to get three points in the league, but I am very respectful of Birmingham, I think they are doing a really good job.
“The team is structured well against the ball and they are a physical side, they have many quality players and experienced players at this level with an experienced coach.
“They know what is necessary to win points at Championship level. They have many options and offensive players who know how to score, so we know it’ll be tough.
“I think for me, when I judge our last four games this will be the toughest opponent we’ve had so far and it’s a big test.
“Especially an away game, because at Elland Road we have our supporters, so we need our supporters also who are travelling away, to be there again like a wall behind us and help us.
“I expect the most difficult test so far and yeah, let’s see if we are up to it in general.
“My feeling is we are prepared to show a good performance and win as many points as possible. But, we are travelling in a respectful mood, not fearful, but respectful.”
