Leeds United produced a stunning comeback away at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon, to return home from a rain-soaked East Anglia with three big points.

Daniel Farke’s side were two-goals down at the break, but found the net three times in the second half to complete the turnaround and move into third in the table.

Speaking after the match, the manager praised his side following the win at Carrow Road.

“First of all, I think it was a really good piece of football advertisement for the Championship,” Farke stated.

“A game between two really good sides, with many goals, a pretty emotional game, a turnaround in the game.

“I was really happy that we were there with a really good performance, I think in a tight game against a really good and brave opponent.

“Also in the end it was a deserved win.”

With the Whites two goals behind at the interval, Farke explained how he was still pleased with the performance of his side who had created a number of chances in the first half.

He said: “I was pleased with the first half performance, we created more chances than you would expect at a difficult away ground.

“Norwich are a good side, we know that they can score out of set pieces. Shane Duffy is one of the best headers in the league and also they are good on the counter attack.

“So we spoke at half-time about, normally you are disappointed when you're 2-0 down, there's something wrong, but we said ‘no, we have to stay on it'.

“It’s important that we didn't lose the nerves and that we keep doing exactly what we did, because we created so many chances,

“It was more like ‘come on, we have to use it and have to be a bit more clinical’. I got the feeling if we keep going we have a great chance to travel away with points.

“The lads fulfilled my wishes and what we wanted to do in this manner, they turned the game completely with three goals.

“All the praise goes to them. It was definitely a massive three points for us today.”
