Daniel Farke saw his side come from a goal behind to win away at Sheffield United on Monday night, creating jubilant scenes in the away end with the late goals.

After coming out a goal down after half-time, goals from Junior Firpo, Ao Tanaka and Joel Piroe saw the Whites defeat the Blades, to win a big Yorkshire derby.

Speaking to the media after the match, our manager gave his view on the win in South Yorkshire.

“I'm proud of the boys,” the boss began, reflecting on the three points.

“It’s one of the toughest places you can go, Bramall Lane fired up in an unbelievable shape. Then also, the worst possible start to the game, they go and lead and the whole stadium is buzzing.

“The reaction the lads have shown during the game, and shown to grow into this game, was outstanding.

“And for that, of course, I'm pleased with the top reaction during the game that we were able to find not just another gear but I would say two or three gears during the game and in the end a tight game against an excellent Sheffield United side.

“Also a tight win, but I think in the end also a bit of a deserved win because you could feel the momentum switch into our direction, but against a tough opponent so goals are always changing the momentum of the game.

“So we had also the lucky situation that we scored the goals then more or less like in the right moment.

“So of course, a really good night for us and priceless three points, yes.”
