Leeds United can confirm Academy defender Coban Bird has joined Emley AFC on a short-term youth loan.

The full-back heads to The Fantastic Media Welfare Ground in search of senior game time after impressing for the Under-21s side at Thorp Arch.

Last campaign, the versatile 19-year-old made 11 appearances for Scott Gardner’s team which included valuable minutes in the EFL Trophy and National League Cup.
