Leeds United are proud to support the NSPCC in their Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport campaign.

Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport (KYCSIS), is an annual campaign run by the NSPCC and its Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU), to promote safeguarding in sport and physical activity across the UK.

This year’s KYCSIS week of action runs from the 6th to 12th of October, and parents are encouraged to play their part and talk to their children about how they can bring out their best through positive actions and support.

This campaign is all about building positive parent behaviour, equipping parents with the means to be able to encourage and support their children in the best way possible.

The part a parent plays in their child’s sport can have a big impact on the child’s wellbeing and feelings towards sport, so it is important to maintain a strong and positive parent-child relationship that allows the child to take part in sport confidently.
