Monday 5th April marks 21 years since two loyal Leeds United supporters, Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight, travelled to Turkey to watch their beloved team in action but tragically never returned home.

Chris and Kevin were brutally murdered in Istanbul on the eve of our UEFA Cup semi-final fixture with Galatasaray in 2000.

Kevin and Chris will never be forgotten and will always have a special place in the hearts of Leeds United fans worldwide.

The emotions I felt so deep inside

As I laid my flower down to rest

In front of Billy, who was the best.

Shirts and scarves from across the nation

Sounded a national declaration:

In our memories, for ever more...

The fans of the team let out a sigh

It's only a game, no one should have to die.
