As the 48th edition of Copa America fast approaches, Gregg Berhalter has named the squad that will represent the US on home soil, with Leeds United attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson included.

Berhalter's side played their final pre-tournament friendly on Wednesday night, when they held Brazil to a 1-1 draw, with Aaronson coming on in the second half to replace Timothy Weah and make his 41st appearance for USMNT.

Standing in their way of a place in the Quarter-Finals, the United States face a tough Group C, needing to overcome Bolivia, Panama and a Uruguay side managed by former Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Aaronson comes into the competition having played 30 Bundesliga games for Union Berlin last season, plus six Champions League fixtures against Real Madrid, Napoli and SC Braga.
