Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers was dedicated to Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm, as the club celebrates the wonderful work the organisation does for the local community.

Ahead of the match, ambassadors and youngsters collected money outside of Elland Road with a bucket appeal, raising over £2,000. Staff from the charity also delivered talks to guests in hospitality lounges about the work they do and shared information about how those interested can get involved.

On the pitch, the Whites’ first-team squad all warmed up in commemorative t-shirts ahead of the clash with Blackburn, with the charity’s branding visible all around the stadium and on the big screen.

Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm is dedicated to enhancing and brightening the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in our city, offering them the chance to take a break from their difficult, and sometimes abusive, home lives. The breaks they offer at Lineham Farm are filled with adventure, fun and learning, all in a safe and happy environment.

Together with our official charity partner for the 2023/24 season, the club have ran several special visits and activities at Lineham Farm, Elland Road and Thorp Arch, helping to raise money and awareness to support the inspiring work the charity do in providing opportunities for young children.
