Bid on match worn shirts from Brentford clash!

Money raised will to to spinal cord injury research.

DCL Wings for Life

Saturday’s clash against Brentford marked the dedicated Wings for Life World Run fixture for the 2025/26 campaign, with the club helping to raise further awareness around spinal cord injury research.

Launched in 2014, Wings for Life World Run is the world’s largest running event, uniting participants across the globe in one shared moment.

What makes the event truly unique is its impact: 100% of every entry fee goes directly to spinal cord injury research. Wings for Life has funded hundreds of research projects and clinical trials worldwide since 2004, helping drive forward treatments that are improving outcomes for people living with spinal cord injury and bringing science closer to a cure.

As part of the initiative, the Wings for Life World Run logo appeared on the Leeds United home shirts for the match. After the game, these shirts were signed by the first-team before being put up for auction on MatchwornShirt, with all funds raised going to fund spinal cord injury research.

Please note, auctions will close on Sunday 5th April at 2pm. Click here to place your bid.
