Leeds United Women are pleased to announce the signing of Beth Guy, who joins the club from divisional rivals Middlesbrough FC.

The midfielder played a crucial role in helping Newcastle United to be crowned FA WNL Division One North champions in the 2022/23 season, scoring four goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.

From there, Guy swapped Tyneside for Teesside and was instrumental for Boro as they finished second behind Hull City last campaign.

So far this term, the 24-year-old has made three appearances for the Reds and now joins the Whites who sit just one point behind the Teesside outfit in the battle for promotion.

With the deal completed in time, Guy links straight up with Simon Wood’s squad and will be in contention to feature in Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Mancunian Unity.
