A number of backroom staff at Leeds United are currently undertaking a gruelling fitness challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Based at Thorp Arch Training Ground, the 10 members of first team and Academy staff are completing various fitness-based challenges throughout the month of November, in the hopes of raising vital funds as a united team.
No matter the weather, each individual has signed up to complete either a run (3km, 5km or 10km) or a cycle (10km, 15km, 25km) every day in November, working together to raise awareness around a charity close to their hearts.
In November 2018, Stephen Gilpin and Ross Burbeary first started a challenge that meant they both had to complete a 10km run every day in less than 45 minutes, throughout November. Since then, the challenge has expanded and each year the support has increased, reaching a number of football teams and professional sport clubs around the country.
If you are able to support our backroom staff as they continue each of their challenges through to the end of November, please click here – and you can also find out more about the challenge each person is undertaking.
A huge well done to Tom, Rishi, Daryl, Billy, Henry, Andy, Mark, Matt, Rob and Will.
