Anton Stach is this weekend’s exclusive interview in the matchday programme, discussing his time at the club so far and explaining the entertaining side to his social media antics, among other topics!
During the conversation, the 27-year-old midfielder also looked ahead to Friday night’s encounter with Burnley under the Elland Road lights.
Keen to continue their impressive unbeaten form of late in the Premier League, which has seen Daniel Farke’s side take seven points from their previous three outings, Anton is under no illusions to how much of a threat the Clarets will pose.
“I think it will be a really difficult match,” the German international said. “I can remember the game when we played there away.
“So, they are still focused. They are not a team that are like, ‘Now we are relegated, we don’t do anything’. You need to break them and, yeah, we have to do it.
“We know it is difficult. I think also, like the last season, it was always difficult against Burnley because they are very structured and they stick to their formation and everything.
“So we need to be really on it and hopefully we can have a revenge for the first half of the season against Burnley where we lost.”
