Leeds United Women can confirm the signing of exciting forward, Amy Woodruff, who joins the club after departing Brighouse Town Ladies.

The striker has been in sensational form this season, netting 16 times in 20 matches, operating at a higher level.

A natural goalscorer with a high standard of finishing ability, Woodruff will be aiming to reignite a partnership with Laura Bartup, who she played with at Barnsley Women's FC in previous years.

The latest addition to Dan O’Hearne’s side strengthens the squad as they aim to finish the season strongly, in both league and cup.

Speaking after sealing Woodruff’s signature, O’Hearne gave his thoughts on his latest recruit.

He said: “Amy is a proven goalscorer at this level and above, so she is a welcome addition who will provide competition in the forward area.

“She is known for being a very hard working player who is strong on the ball, and is also a quick player who will upset defences.

“Amy will undoubtedly cause problems in the final third and I am delighted to bring her to the football club.”
