Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw spoke to LUTV after victory against his former side Brentford on Wednesday night.

A superb passing display from Forshaw and a Championship debut goal from Arsenal loanee, Eddie Nketiah ensured Leeds ran out 1-0 victors.

Forshaw was pleased with the crucial three points and a first home win of the season.

“It’s a big three points. I felt we deserved more against Nottingham Forest, but we're definitely pleased with 10 points after four games. It’s been a solid start,” said Forshaw.

“It was a tough game to be honest, two good teams, but I think we got our just rewards in the end.

“We’ve sent out a big message in terms of our strength in depth. Eddie and Helder came on, and they both played a part, then Berardi made an appearance, and he’s someone you can always count on.

“Helder set up the goal and Eddie got the tap in, which was a real striker’s goal. He also helped Patrick do the work for the last 15 minutes.”
