With ten games to go, Leeds United made the short journey down to Sheffield Wednsday's Hillsborough Stadium on Friday night, walking away with a 2-0 win.
After a tense opening 45 minutes in which both sides were largely equal, Patrick Bamford popped up in stoppage time to convert Junior Firpo's brilliant cross.
Coming out for the second half, Leeds dominated the play, before Willy Gnonto doubled the lead. Meslier launched a ball up the pitch, Bamford and Georginio linked up to set Gnonto on his way, before the Italian international fired a stunning strike past Sheffield Wednesday's keeper.
With Leicester and Ipswich dropping points, Leeds keep hold of second place this weekend, with Millwall awaiting next Sunday.
