Heading westbound on the M62 and over the Pennines will take fans to the homes of four of next season’s Premier League opponents, all based in either Manchester or Liverpool.
The first trip to Merseyside pits Daniel Farke’s side against Liverpool at Anfield in December. Last campaign, Leeds defended brilliantly to frustrate the opposition crowd in a goalless draw away from home and extend their unbeaten run at the time to six matches.
In the reverse fixture, a last-gasp Ao Tanaka equaliser sent Elland Road into raptures, ensuring the shares were spoiled after an enthralling 3-3 draw.
Notably in a previous campaign, the Whites were victorious at Anfield in 2023 thanks to goals from Rodrigo and Crysensio Summerville.
After winning the Premier League the season before last, Liverpool were unable to mount a title defence and parted ways with boss Arne Slot after a fifth-place finish, replacing the Dutchman with former Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola.

When the Whites return to Merseyside, they will mark just their second ever visit to Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium home. On their first outing at the ground, James Justin’s close-range strike earned a valuable point on the road for Farke’s men.
The home meeting proved to be another very memorable encounter with Lukas Nmecha’s late penalty firing us to all three points in last term’s Elland Road opener.
David Moyes’ Toffees sat 13th in the final standings, just one place and two points above the Whites after failing to pick up a victory in their final seven fixtures.

Noah Okafor’s scintillating double at the Stretford End earned Leeds United a first league victory at Old Trafford in 45 years towards the end of the previous season. Aiming to make that back-to-back wins there, the Whites will travel over the Pennines in May.
The reverse fixture between the two in 2025 ended all square with Brenden Aaronson on the scoresheet. This time, we host them in our fourth home fixture, midway through October.
Finding form after appointing Michael Carrick initially on an interim basis, the Manchester United hierarchy have since appointed the former midfielder on a permanent deal. The two clubs will also meet in Dublin’s exciting pre-season encounter at Croke Park.

Much was made about our visit to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium last season where, two goals down at the break, a change to the system led to the Whites fighting back to level. Despite a late Phil Foden winner for the Blues, Farke’s side took great courage and belief from the encounter and would embark on a lengthy unbeaten run across December and January afterwards.
On home soil, Leeds were again impressive against Pep Guardiola’s side but once more came away empty-handed following a narrow defeat at Elland Road. Both encounters against last term’s runners up are scheduled as midweek matches this time around.
United’s finest hour at City’s new home undoubtedly came in the 2020/21 campaign. Travelling to face the champions elect at the time, Stuart Dallas fired his team ahead but after a Liam Cooper red card and a Ferran Torres equaliser, few could have predicted the injury-time winner would come from the Northern Irishman, finishing beyond Ederson!
