Car Parks

From the start of the 2026/27 season, the club will both manage and operate the council car parks on home matchdays. Parking must be booked in advance of matchday on a game-by-game basis for all Leeds United home fixtures. There is no longer an option to pay on the day at any council car park, and supporters arriving without a pre-booked space will be turned away.

Spaces are prioritised for current Season Ticket Holders and Members with a valid match ticket, issued on a first-come-first-served basis with a limit of one space per supporter. Spaces for both cars and motorcycles cost £13.00 (includes a £1.00 booking fee). Parking spaces will be sold via the club’s online ticketing platform.

Digital car parking passes will be issued and must be downloaded to your Google Pay (for Android) or Apple Wallet (for iphone) in advance of matchday and before arriving at Elland Road. Please ensure your phone is fully charged and your ticket is saved to your wallet before setting off, as screenshots and email confirmations will not be accepted.

Premier League (Brentford): On-sale dates for car parking spaces for our first home league match will be confirmed closer to the fixture date within the main match ticket announcement.

Home Friendlies: Parking sales details will be announced during the week commencing 27 July.

Accessible parking is free of charge and available in the Grey, Green, and Purple Car Parks, with widened spaces located in Purple Car Park Zone 1. Please note, the 17 Accessible parking spaces on Lowfields Road are currently suspended and have been relocated to the Purple Car Park Zone 1.

If accessible parking is fully allocated, you can book a standard parking space for £13.00 (includes £1.00 booking fee), subject to availability.

How to Book

  • Supporters who arrive without a pre-booked space will be turned away.

  • Spaces are prioritised for current Season Ticket Holders and Members, issued on a first-come-first served basis with a limit of one space per supporter.

  • All pre‑booked spaces are guaranteed, with spots in the car parks allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis upon arrival on matchday.

Eligibility & Registration

  • Before you can apply for matchday accessible parking, you must be officially registered as a disabled supporter with the club, as per our disabled ticketing policy.

  • All applicants must provide proof of eligibility.

  • The club requires specific official documents, such as a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) letter showing higher or middle-rate Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

  • Your documentation must be valid at the time of applying and correspond to the active operating season. For example, for the 2026/27 season, documents must be dated 2026 or 2027.

Note: Season Ticket Holders and Members who have already submitted their proof for the upcoming season do not need to supply it again.

Opening times: 5pm for an evening game and approximately 5 hours prior to kick off for fixtures played on a weekend / bank holiday. All car parks close 3 hours after the final whistle.

Coach/Mini Bus Parking

A designated coach park is available for away supporters. Due to stadium redevelopment works, the capacity is restricted to a maximum of 24 coaches. Coach parking must be pre-booked in advance of matchday on a match-by-match basis; spaces sold on a first come first served basis. There is no longer an option to pay on the day, and away coaches arriving without a pre-booked space will be turned away.

Parking charges are £25.00 (includes £1.00 booking fee) for mini buses and £61.00 per coach (includes £1.00 booking fee). Digital parking passes will be issued and must be downloaded to your Google Pay (for Android) or Apple Wallet (for iphone) in advance of matchday and before arriving at Elland Road. Mini bus parking is available to pre book via the Club for the Green Car Park, click HERE to view the map. In addition, Coach parking is available to purchase for coaches, buses and mini buses via Metro. This car park is located behind the Centenary Pavilion at Elland Road and is owned and operated by Metro.

Road Closures

Matchday road closures are in place for all games at Elland Road.

Lowfields Road closes 1 hour before kick-off. No vehicle movement is permitted post-match until fans clear the area (expect a 30 to 60-minute delay after the final whistle).

Elland Road closes 15 minutes before the final whistle and remains closed for at least 1 hour.

Park & Ride Matchday Shuttle

Travel to Elland Road with the official Leeds United Park & Ride service operated in partnership with Hunters Coaches.

Booking:

You must book online in advance (matchday walk-ups are not available). Secure your park & ride ticket on the club’s online ticketing platform

Pricing:

  • £7.00 (including £1.50 booking fee) per person or £21.50 (including £1.50 booking fee) per car (based on four people sharing).

Timings:

  • Shuttles begin 2.5 hours before kick-off. Return buses depart immediately after the final whistle on a 'Fill and Go' basis, with the last bus leaving 25 minutes after the game ends.

  • Catch ST1 to Stourton or TG1 to Temple Green from behind the North Stand.

  • Access: Junction 7 on the M621 (A61 Wakefield Rd / A639 Leeds Rd).

Bus

Here's how you can get to Elland Road stadium by bus with a match day special services and fares operated by First Bus.

Service R2 operates on most home match days from Sovereign Street in Leeds (outside Café Nero) to Elland Road from 150 minutes before the match starts. Single tickets are only available after the game for journeys from Elland Road.

Service R3 operates from Thornbury Barracks and Pudsey Bus Station to Elland Road 90 minutes before the match starts. Single tickets available before and after the game.

Service R4 operates after the match only, from Elland Road to Morley Town Hall.

NOTE: MCards, MetroCards and West Yorkshire Day Rovers are NOT valid on these services.

Along Elland Road. Please note that bus stops outside the ground are suspended one hour before and one hour after a home match.
