Leeds United Foundation is committed to upholding The Premier League Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Standards, (PLEDIS), values and expectations.

The Foundation is committed to promoting inclusion and eliminating discrimination both from football and within our business. We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of discrimination or bullying based on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. These are known as the “protected characteristics” under the Equality Act 2010.

Leeds United Foundation will ensure that it treats its employees and participants fairly and with respect at all times. The Foundation is committed to providing an environment in which every individual’s rights, dignity and worth are respected and in particular that they are able to work and enjoy Foundation activities in an environment without the threat of intimidation, victimisation, harassment or abuse. Everyone has something about them that is different. It makes no sense to discriminate or stereotype people because they are different from us. We are all from different backgrounds, but united in our support for Leeds United.

  • Diversity is something that applies to everyone and should be part of everything we do. It is an important part of our work and not just a side issue. It requires everyone to play a full part. It is important to recognise that none of us fit.

Being inclusive is about following best practice so that everyone can get the most out of their experience with the club.

    • raise issues and suggestions, knowing this is encouraged

    • try doing things differently to how they’ve been done before
