Esports (electronic sports) is competitive video gaming. This course provides an in-depth study of the sector, supporting progression to the Level 3 course or employment.

Esports Level 2

Esports (electronic sports) is competitive video gaming. Tournaments usually involve amateur or professional gamers competing against one another. We can prepare you for a career in Esports.

This one-year full-time course provides an in-depth study of the sector, supporting progression to Level 3 and employment in key areas of the industry such as: Business, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Coaching, Leadership, Event Management, Production and Journalism, along with an understanding and appreciation of the positive benefits of Esports. These include the development of teamwork, communication, leadership skills, confidence building, decision-making, reaction times, reading comprehension skills, cyber skills, dexterity and concentration.

There are two Hub locations available for students to complete the Esports course at, including; Leeds and Sheffield.

This course commences in September 2020 and will be completed in one year.
A keen interest and willingness to be involved within the Esports industry, 2 GCSEs grade 4/C or above. You will be required to undertake a criminal record check (CRC) along with initial assessments in English and Maths.
