GENDER PAY GAP REPORT
Leeds United is an employer required by law to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017.
This involves carrying out calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation.
What are the calculations?
The six calculations that we are obliged to formally publish show:
1. Average gender pay gap as a mean average
2. Average gender pay gap as a median average
3. Average bonus gender pay gap as a mean average
4. Average bonus gender pay gap as a median average
5. Proportion of males receiving a bonus payment and proportion of females receiving a bonus payment
6. Proportion of males and females when divided into four groups ordered from lowest to highest pay.

We have calculated our results in line with the government regulations and it comes as no surprise that, as with the majority of other professional teams competing in the Premier League, there is a significant pay gap due to the disproportionate salaries and bonuses paid to the playing and coaching staff.
Our mean gender pay gap is 87% whereas the UK average is currently 14.9%.
Our data contains information relating to a wide range of duties ranging from professional first team players through to casual match day staff.
