WILL HATFIELD
DOB: October 10 1991
Will signed as a schoolboy in May 2000 and has progressed through the club's Academy system, signing his first professional contract last term. The midfielder, who was a more than useful cricketer before turning full-time with Leeds, was playing regularly in the Under-18s while still at school and after progressing to the reserve side, he wore the captain's armband last season on the day the reserves clinched the league title. In January 2011, Will joined York City on loan.

JOE McCANN
DOB: October 11 1992
Leeds-born Joe is a young midfielder who has been with the club since the age of nine. Joe signed his first professional contract with the club during the summer of 2010, but his appearances were restricted by injury during the 2010/11 season and he figured just five times in the under-18s.

SANCHEZ PAYNE
DOB: January 31 1993
Midfielder Sanchez is a local lad and another product of the club's Academy. He first joined the club as a 12-year-old schoolboy and signed his first professional contract during the summer of 2010. During the 2009/10 season he scored twice in 23 appearances for the under-18s and netted his first goal at reserve level at Bradford City in October 2009.

CHARLIE TAYLOR
DOB: 18 September 1993
Charlie joined the club's scholarship scheme at the start of the 2010/11 season and impressed enough to earn a professional contract by the end of his first year. Charlie was an ever present in the under-18s last season and also established himself in the reserve side.

ZAC THOMPSON
DOB:
Liverpudlian Zac joined the club's scholarship from Everton at Christmas 2010. A right-back, Zac impressed enough to earn a professional contract during the latter part of last season. Such was his progress that he too joined the first team squad on the pre-season tour of Scotland, making his debut as a midfielder at Falkirk.

LEWIS TURNER
DOB: September 3 1992
Garforth-born Lewis has been with the club since the age of nine, along with identical twin brother Nathan. Like his brother, Lewis can play in a number of positions, but has figured regularly in the left-back role. Lewis was a regular for both the reserves and under-18s last season.

NATHAN TURNER
DOB: September 3 1992
Like his brother Lewis, Nathan goes by the nickname of "Twinnie". A versatile player, who can play at the back or in midfield, Nathan was a virtual ever present in the under-18s last season. He and his brother were both rewarded for their efforts by joining the first team squad during pre-season and featuring in the matches in Scotland.
