LEON'S SCORING RETURN

Returning striker Leon Constantine fired the reserves to victory against York City at Elland Road on Wednesday.
Constantine, playing his first game for the club after a month-long loan spell at Oldham, scored after just six minutes when he converted a Tom Elliott cross at the far post.
It proved to be the only of a game which United controlled and could have won by more. Goalkeeper Alan Martin didn't have a shot to save throughout.
Both Chris Ovington and Elliott had opportunities during the first half, while substitute Nathan Cartman should have doubled the advantage early in the second period following some good build-up play.
Scott Gardner and Ovington went close in the second half and, after heading straight at the York goalkeeper, Elliott was denied again in the final few minutes when the visiting stopper reacted well after the striker latched onto a long ball forward and was bearing down on goal.
United: Martin, Darville, Gardner (Falkingham 75), Hotchkiss, Wilkinson, Milne, Sorsa (Cartman 39), Delph (Booth 63), Elliott, Constantine, Ovington. Subs: Cartman, Falkingham, Booth.
