Ian Westlake joined the club on the eve of the 2006/07 season from Ipswich Town.
A popular figure at Portman Road - he elected to turn professional at Ipswich rather than pursue a potential career in swimming - Westy was a previous Player of the Year winner for the Suffolk side.
Having failed to hold down a regular place in Leeds the starting line-up during his first season, Ian scored his first goal for the club at the start of the 2007/08 season when he netted the winner at Macclesfield in the Carling Cup.
His appearances were restricted by injury and Ian joined Brighton on loan in March where he remained until the end of the season.
