Experienced defender who signed for the club he supported as a boy during the summer of 2009.
A former Season Ticket Holder at Elland Road, Leigh joined the club from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day.
The centre-back boasts a wealth of experience having had two spells at Sheffield United, one at Watford, and a stint at Sheffield Wednesday. He has made over 300 career appearances, the majority coming in the Championship.
Leigh, who won promotion to the Premier League with Sheffield United in 2006, signed a four-year contract with Leeds.
The defender made his debut against Stockport County at Elland Road on September and went on to feature 38 times during the 2009/10 season.
Leigh, who can play anywhere at the back, scored his first goal for the club at Stockport in December 2009 with a terrific strike.
