Yorkshire-born goalkeeper who signed his first professional contract during the summer of 2011.

Alex joined the club's Academy in 2006 and has excelled in recent years.

He was a near ever present in the under-18s last season and joined the first team squad on their tour of Scotland during the summer of 2011.

Alex made his first team debut as a second half substitute against Blackpool at Elland Road on November 2.

He was also an unused substitute on several occasions during the season and had a loan spell with Blue Square Conference side Barrow.
