Davide is a South African-born striker who initially signed a one-year deal with the club in August 2009.
Born and raised in South Africa, Davide's footballing experience includes two spells in America - one alongside Darren Huckerby for San Jose Earthquakes - and one in Italy.
He joined United on trial during the summer and made a big impression, scoring in behind-closed-doors games against Newcastle and Hull.
He followed that by scoring twice on his debut for the club's reserve side against Rotherham at Elland Road on September 8.

In a bid to assist his development, the player was loaned to Chesterfield in December 2009 and to Lincoln later in the season where he made a huge impression.
Davide scored nine goals in 14 appearances for the Imps and his reward came in the shape of Grayson opting extend his stay at Elland Road by a further year at least.

He made a prolific start to the 2010/11 season, scoring seven goals before the end of October, and within 24 hours of agreeing a new three-year contract with the club, the striker was selected for the South African national side. Davide made his debut for SA against the USA on Wednesday November 10 when he played for an hour of the game.
Davide ended the campaign with his first double-figure haul in professional football, with some stunning strikes proving the crowning glory.
Sadly, a serious knee injury sustained at the start of pre-season in the summer of 2011 saw the striker sidelined for the full campaign.
