American striker who joined the club in January 2009 after impressing during a successful trial period.

Mike made an immediate impact, scoring a hat-trick on his first reserve outing against Barnsley and followed that with two in his next game, against Grimsby. His first team debut came at Huddersfield later that season and he went on to make 11 sub appearances before the end of the 2008/09 season.

In the summer of 2009 Mike, who signed an extended contract with the club, scored his first senior goal in a pre-season friendly win at Burnley and his first competitive goal soon followed when he scored in a 2-0 win against Stockport County at Elland Road.

Mike added four more goals during the 2009/10 season, including two against Kettering in the FA Cup, and the former USA under-20 international went on to make 28 appearances, mostly coming off the bench.
