Tom Elliott Tom is a former England youth international who made a surprise first team appearance during the 2006/07 season when he became the first United player to make his senior debut for the club while still at school - appearing as a substitute in the second half of a Championship game against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

A striker who stands 6ft 4in tall, he has since gained his experience from loan spells with Macclesfield Town and Bury.

Tom made six appearances for Macclesfield in early 2009 and joined Bury on loan in 2009/10 where he scored once in 17 appearances.

That goal, against Crewe in September 2009, was his first league goal.
