Scotland under-19 international Alan Martin joined the club in August 2007.
A youngster still learning his trade, Alan played for both the under-18s and the reserves during his first season at Leeds.
In the summer of 2008 he was handed his first senior involvement when he was included on the pre-season trip to Ireland.
He made his first start in the 1-1 draw against Shelbourne on July 23.
Alan spent much of the 2008/09 season on with Blue Square Conference outfit Barrow, but he did make his debut at under-21 level with Scotland as he continued to impress.
In a bid to further gain first team experience, Alan joined Accrington Stanley on loan at the start of the 2009/2010 season.
