Finland international midfielder Mika Vayrynen joined Leeds United in September 2011.
The 29-year-old, who had won 54 caps for his country on arrival at Leeds, signed a one-year contract with a further year's option.
Mika, who started his career with FC Lahti in Finland, was with Dutch outfit Hereenveen last season.
He first joined the Dutch club in 2001, but spent three years with PSV Eindhoven between 2005-08.
