Enoch Showunmi joined the club from Bristol City during the summer of 2008. A late-starter in the game, Enoch was 21 when he signed for Luton Town. He won promotion with the Hatters, making over 100 appearances for the club, before joining Bristol City on a Bosman in the summer of 2006.

The Nigerian international played a key role in firing Bristol City to promotion from League One, but moved on to Sheffield Wednesday on loan during the latter half of last season.

Enoch scored his Leeds United debut at Scunthorpe in August and went on to score five goals in 10 starts. Unfortunately, the striker suffered a blood clot on his lung in December 2008 and was unable to play for the remainder of the campaign.

But he returned during the summer of 2009 and after scoring in pre-season against Glentoran, he signalled his return to senior action with the winning goal in the Carling Cup first round at Darlington in August.
