Thieves have stolen a priceless piece of history from Elland Road.

Following a break-in on Saturday evening an England shirt worn by Don Revie was stolen from the main West Stand reception area.

The shirt was worn by Don for the England against Ireland game during the 1954/55 season. The year of the match is embroidered on the shirt, beneath the famous three lions.

The shirt is both priceless and irreplaceable and we would appeal to anyone who either knows its whereabouts, or is offered the chance to buy the shirt, to please contact Colin Lockwood on 0113 367 6129.
