GARY McALLISTER
Leeds United manager Gary McAllister was today awarded a new contract with the club.
The former Scotland international, and Leeds United captain, has signed a 12-month rolling contract with the club after initially joining on a short-term agreement until the end of the season.
Gary returned to the club as manager in January, following the departure of Dennis Wise, and the team has suffered just two defeats during 11 games since his appointment.

Gary said: "I'm delighted and very honoured. I was initially offered job until the end of the season and it took me all of two seconds to agree then, and it's similar now.
"The players now know where they stand as far as I'm concerned and we can all look forward to the future together. I was very eager to stay and I want to bring success to the club."
Leeds United chairman Ken Bates said: "We've been impressed with what Gary has done and we decided it was fair to offer him a rolling contract to enable us to plan the future of Leeds United with confidence and security."
