Jonathan Douglas opens the scoring

Jonathan Douglas is set to make his return to action in Leeds United's reserves at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

The Republic of Ireland international will make his first appearance since suffering a knee injury at Walsall in December.

Dougie returned to light training two weeks ago and played 60 minutes in a specially arranged match last week.

Neil Thompson will take a strong side to face Wednesday with Paul Huntington, Alan Sheehan, Peter Sweeney, Seb Sorsa, and Anthony Elding among the senior players set to feature.

The starting line-up also includes Ivory Coast international and former Troyes striker Georges Depreyba Ba.

The game takes place at Stocksbridge Park Steels (7pm) and live updates will be available on Yorkshire Radio.
