Connor converted a Scott Gardner cross on the hour-mark to earn United a 2-2 draw at Ashby Avenue.
Leeds had got off to the perfect start when Andrew Milne headed home an Ollie Hotchkiss corner inside the opening five minutes, and both Chris Ovington and Josh Falkingham went close to further the advantage.
But the home side hit back to score twice before half-time, courtesy of Gary King and Nat Brown.
United responded by putting Lincoln under pressure at the start of the second period, and Neil Thompson's side were rewarded for their efforts when Connor snatched an equaliser.
Leeds almost stole the points late on, but Tom Elliott saw his header cleared off the line by a home defender.
