STEVE'S VILLA RETURN
Irish international Stephen O'Halloran has returned to Aston Villa.
The loan man was a late withdrawal from the starting line-up at Swindon Town on Saturday after suffering an injury.
Stephen went for a scan on the problem on Monday evening, and the results confirmed a cruciate injury.
Stephen told LUTV: "Unfortunately, it's a bad one. It's my cruciate ligaments. I haven't got the full details as yet, so we'll wait and see what happens over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, it means it's loan over for me.
"I was looking forward to playing here, but I'm not going to be all negative about things, you never know what might happen in the future.
"I'd like to thank everyone here, particularly the physios."
United boss Gary McAllister said: "It's disappointing for Stephen. He was buzzing when he came here and was really looking forward to playing.
"We've all got our fingers crossed for him here that he makes a speedy recovery and I think I can speak on behalf of everyone when I wish him all the best from Leeds United."
