WESTY SET FOR LOAN
Midfielder Ian Westlake is poised to join Brighton and Hove Albion on loan.
Terms have been agreed for Westy to join the League One side on loan until April 5.
The 24-year-old, who was signed by Kevin Blackwell on the eve of the 2006/07 season, hasn't figured in the first team in recent weeks and has endured a frustrating campaign.
He scored his first goal for the club in the Carling Cup first round win at Macclesfield, and followed that with a stunning winner at Oldham in October after coming off the subs bench, but he has found starting opportunities limited and has yet to feature under Gary McAllister.
Peter Sweeney and Bradley Johnson both arrived in January to provide more competition on the left-flank, and his last appearance came in the 1-1 draw at Luton in January.
The boss has stated that he is looking to move some his squad members out on loan deals, and Westlake will follow Ben Parker, who joined Darlington last week.
