Irish youth international Shane O'Connor is set to feature in Leeds United's reserve team at Hartlepool United on Wednesday night.

The 17-year-old, who hails from Cork and can play left-back and on the left side of midfield, has joined from Liverpool and will be hoping to take the chance to impress for United.

Neil Thompson takes a young side to the north east for the fixture with Scott Gardner and Seb Sorsa the only over-18s in the starting line-up.

Fabian Delph again captains the team and Liam Darville keeps his place, following his injury against Lincoln last midweek.
