Top goalscorer Chris Wood has proven his worth in recent weeks with three goals from three, while captain Sol Bamba continues to show why the club were so keen to make his move permanent over the summer.

Add in eye-catching displays from the likes of Mirco Antenucci, Charlie Taylor and Gaetano Berardi, then this vote becomes a particularly tough one. 

Young guns Sam Byram, Lewis Cook, Alex Mowatt and Kalvin Phillips have also played key roles, while summer signings Stuart Dallas and Tom Adeyemi continue to go from strength to strength. There are also the defensive displays of Marco Silvestri, Liam Cooper and Giuseppe Bellusci to consider, with United yet to suffer defeat.
