Following the international break, it's back to Championship action with a trip across to Lancashire to face Blackburn Rovers.

Five who played for both:
Jonathan Douglas – The Irishman came through the youth ranks at Ewood Park making a total of 24 appearances, scoring one goal. Loan spells at Chesterfield, Blackpool and Gillingham before a loan move to Elland Road, took place in August 2005. His move was made permanent at the end of the 2005-06 season. He made 166 appearances for the Whites, scoring 11 goals.

Jason Brown – Brown joined Blackburn from Gillingham on a free transfer in June 2006, making 16 appearances in the process. He joined Leeds on loan from Blackburn in September 2010, making four appearances for the Whites.

Jemal Johnson – The American, like Douglas, came through as a trainee at Blackburn, making 10 appearances for the side and scoring just one goal. From there, loan moves to Preston and Darlington followed before a permanent move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2006. He joined Leeds on loan from Wolves in February 2007, featuring just five times.

El Hadji Diouf – Diouf joined Blackburn from Sunderland in the January transfer window in 2009. He made a total of 62 appearances at Ewood Park, finding the back of the net on four occasions. He then had a brief spell at Glasgow Rangers on loan before joining Doncaster Rovers on a free transfer. He joined the Whites on a free in August 2012, making 52 appearances and scoring seven goals.

Jason Wilcox – Wilcox came through as a youngster at Ewood Park in June 1989, staying there until December 1999. He made a total of 315 appearances scoring 33 times. He then moved to Elland Road and made 106 appearances in a five-year stay. He hit the back of the net six times.

Five stats:
Lee Chapman made a goalscoring debut for Leeds away at Blackburn in a 2-1 win in the old Second Division on January 13th 1990.

The never forgotten blue and green stripped shirts made its debut away at Blackburn Rovers on January 23rd 1994. Leeds lost the game 2-1.

Howard Wilkinson’s last ever win as Leeds United boss came at Blackburn on September 4th 1996, thanks to a header from Irishman Ian Harte.

When we met Blackburn at Ewood Park on September 14th 1997, Leeds won the game 4-3 with all the goals coming in the first half. United's goals came from a brace from Rod Wallace and one each for Robert Molenaar and David Hopkin.

United's last win in the Premiership came on Saturday 10th April 2004, when they defeated Blackburn 2-1 thanks to goals from Steven Caldwell and Mark Viduka.
