ADRYAN LOOKING FOR EXTENDED STAY

Young Brazilian enjoying life in Leeds…

Summer loan signing Adryan Oliveira Tavares is enjoying life at United and has hinted that he would be open to an extended stay at the club.

Adryan has made eight appearances this season, starting the last five fixtures, and insists he is enjoying his time at the club.

“I like English football,” said Adryan. “When I was young I saw many big players playing in the UK, not just the English players. The international players too.

“I enjoy it and I love this country. I want to stay more time.

“The whole world knows that the English football is strong and physical. The Championship has more quality though.

“I’m not a typically strong player but when I get the ball I can play and enjoy my time on the pitch.

“I want to stay. I hope to play more games and play well and remain here for next season.”

During a recent interview with LUTV the Brazilian was quick to praise the United fans for the support they show, both at home and away from Elland Road.

“We have great fans,” he said. “So many fans.

“Always when we play away we have a crowd. When we play away it is like we are playing at home because they are always singing in the stadium. It is so good.

“When I play at Elland Road I feel at home.”

The Brazilian is wanting to add goals to his game but insists he remains relaxed on the pitch.

“I hope to add goals to my game,” added Adryan. “I try in all the games and I think I need to shoot more. I prefer to play relaxed, the goal will come.

“I don’t think to myself that I need to score all the time because if I think like this I’ll never score. I feel relaxed at the moment, the goals will come.

United’s next Sky Bet Championship fixture will see Fulham visit Elland Road and Adryan is hoping to reward the supporters with three points.

“The fans will help us and we need to win for them.”
